NCT‘s Mark finally joined Instagram and it looks like the news came as a surprise to fans, causing his profile to garner too much traffic.
Around 12am PST on January 26, Mark sent a message on the Dear.U Bubble app, which is where fans can buy a message subscription from their favorite group members, to let his fans know that he had opened his personal Instagram account.
Of course, as soon as fans got his username, @onyourm__ark (which I think is pretty clever; I absolutely love it!), he started gaining followers by the thousands. This quickly became an issue because, by the looks of it, his profile started glitching and a lot of people were having trouble following him.
At the time of publishing, Mark currently has over 1.2m followers on his account.
His first post? A cute photo of him looking like he’s about to start running. He captioned it with the most perfect pun to go along with his username, “get set. go” which is how a race is usually started off.
Mark isn’t the only NCT member on Instagram though. He joins along with fellow NCT members, Jaehyun, Doyoung, Yuta, Johnny, and Jaemin, as well as all of WayV (who are a China-based subunit of NCT).
Nevertheless, saying NCTzens (NCT’s fandom) were excited about Mark’s Instagram debut is an understatement.
